Prior to joining Advantage Capital, Reid served as a product development engineer for Advanced Micro Devices and as an Engineer and Manager with IBM Microelectronics. He brings operational experience in semiconductor design, manufacturing, testing, and production to the firm.

Reid currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Upstate Venture Association of New York (UVANY). He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Northeast New York.

Reid received his master’s degree in engineering management and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Dartmouth College, as well as a bachelor’s degree in physics from St. Lawrence University.
