Managing Director
Michael Johnson
Michael Johnson, an experienced venture capitalist and a specialized transactions attorney, is a Managing Director at Advantage Capital. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s operations, with a primary focus on capital-raising transactions, regulatory compliance and government relations. He also serves as Chief Compliance Officer.
Previously associated with New Orleans’ largest law firm, Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre, Michael practiced securities and corporate law for a broad range of clients.
Michael received his J.D. from Stanford University’s School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, and his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Harvard College.
