General Trucking

A premier carrier, transportation broker, and freight forwarder, General Trucking is committed to delivering world-class logistics services. In 2024, leadership transitioned to Tannis Fussell of Ascentria Capital and James Collins of Eastwood Capital—both distinguished minority investors and entrepreneurs.

Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, General Trucking specializes in time-sensitive freight for Tier One automotive manufacturers across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. While General Trucking has a global footprint, the company remains deeply rooted in its community, fostering economic impact and job opportunities.

Goodwrx

Las Vegas-based Goodwrx is redefining workforce empowerment in the hospitality sector. Led by Co-Founder and CEO Nathan Armogan, Goodwrx connects workers with flexible, well-paying opportunities through a labor-centric, shift-based model.

In a city where unemployment remains a persistent challenge, Goodwrx is making a significant impact by enabling workers to maximize their earnings while helping businesses meet staffing needs. Through innovation and commitment to equity, Goodwrx exemplifies the power of entrepreneurial excellence in strengthening communities.

mSEED Group

A pioneer in beauty and personal care manufacturing, mSEED Group provides small-batch production solutions, breaking down barriers for minority-owned brands. Founders Erica Douglas and Anthony Standifer bring a combined 55 years of experience in bridging the gap between innovation and execution.

Operating in a distressed South Chicago suburb, mSEED prioritizes community impact by hiring individuals facing employment challenges. By creating opportunities in an underserved market, mSEED is fostering economic empowerment and paving the way for more minority-owned beauty brands to thrive in mainstream retail.

North End Teleservices

North End Teleservices (NET) of North Omaha is the largest African-American owned business in Nebraska, employing more than 500 people. Owner, president and CEO Carmen Tapio stays focused on the impact these jobs have on individuals, their families and the surrounding area.

NET created Nebraska’s first U.S. Department of Labor-registered apprenticeship program and also provides its employees with tuition reimbursement, helping to grow local talent and provide them with training for upward mobility. Additionally, NET goes above and beyond in providing support for its employees, from the household stabilizing benefits such as healthcare and other wealth creation opportunities, to the shuttle the company runs to make sure its employees get to work.

At Advantage Capital, we are committed to investing in businesses that drive inclusive economic growth. We celebrate the remarkable entrepreneurs in our portfolio who are not only building successful enterprises but also strengthening the fabric of their communities. Their dedication to Exhibiting Excellence serves as an inspiration for the next generation of business leaders.
