Mr. Dubuque, a Managing Director at Advantage Capital Partners, works on formulating investment policy, identifying and closing new investments, and portfolio management. Mr. Dubuque currently serves on the board of BizCapital, an Advantage Capital affiliate, and he is an advisory board member for U.S. Bank's St. Louis middle market group.
Mr. Dubuque joined Advantage in 2006 after nine years at U.S. Bank, where he served most recently as Senior Vice President. At U.S. Bank, he created and managed a $400 million subordinated debt fund and managed the capital markets division's middle market group, which syndicated senior loans, provided interest rate management and raised private placements, subordinated debt and equity throughout U.S. Bank's 24-state footprint. Mr. Dubuque also spent 6 years as a commercial loan officer for JP Morgan Chase (formerly First Chicago/NBD Bank).
Mr. Dubuque serves on the executive board of the Independence Center, a St. Louis-area nonprofit organization that supports adults with mental illness. In recognition of his professional achievements and community involvement, he was named to the St. Louis Business Journal's '40 under 40' list in 2003.
Mr. Dubuque holds an M.B.A. degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
